Saw NIN. Absolutely awesome.
I was completely blown away by the raw energy of the whole thing. Mr Reznor was great and the current touring lineup was likewise.

Affluenza June 23, 2005

So I bought Affluenza from Borders a while ago while Christie was at a job interview.

It’s a nice anti-consumerism blurb with some excellent points backed up by similarly good research and a few generalisations and assertions thrown in for good measure.

One of those books that has me examining my attitudes toward money and spending and happiness again.

That little shopping expedition also produced Tomorrow’s Islam (the book from the Compass special of the same name), which I think will be discussed at some later date.
