ZOMBIES! August 18, 2005

I’ll just give you the end part…

…
Slices of pizza soared through the window, landing on the floor of the ambulance.
“Don’t touch it!” I commanded my fellow back-of-ambulance-rider. I knew it had zombie in it.

Unfortunately I didn’t tell the driver of our vehicle until it was too late.

“Did you eat the pizza?” I asked
“Yes.” she replied meekly.
“Are you becoming a zombie?”
“I think so.”
“Right.”

I climbed out of the window and into the front. “Sorry” I said as I kicked her out of the door and under the wheel of the zombie-laden truck chasing us down.

I guess the zombie truck crashed or vanished or something after that.

Next thing I know I’m driving down a lovely forest road, like a cross between the forest in Gran Turismo and some Disney thing and then I see them… Babies.

Thousands and thousands of dead babies are lying all over the place. It’s like a sea of dead babies with some grass and trees poking out of them. They all died trying to get to the place I’m trying to get to. I guess they didn’t like zombies either.

I have no recourse, so I just drive the ambulance right over them and keep going.

Eventually I get to my destination and there’s like a new colony of people playing in forest pools and trees and having a good time.

End dream.

What is it with you and babies? A little while ago it was “raining babies” and babies were fantastic … now you’re running over their dead, bloated, but still cute and cuddly, bodies?

But I guess I can’t blame you. Flight from zombies will make a man do strange things.

Still, I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: you’re weird, man.
